"They took down an old shed that was 12 feet high (made like a house) and removed the blocks it was sitting on including the cinder blocks that the frame was bolted into.

They arrived on time gave me a quote and explained what they were going to do. They professionally guided their truck into a very narrow driveway and began working. It took them about three hours, which was the time they estimated. When they were done the only evidence left of a shed was a bear spot in my grass. They swept the driveway, raked the spot and left it cleaner than when they arrived. I also had several plants within 3 feet of the area that they were working in and they weren't touched. Remove 2 window air conditioners, 2 portable tv's, vcr's, dvd player, sewing machine, tv table. My little house needs lots of work inside and out, so stripping away the unnecessary junk was the logical the first step. After finding Abra-Cadabra on Angie's List, I emailed them Monday evening and received a call from Linda on Tuesday. She explained the process and price ranges, and we set up an appointment for Wednesday morning. The guys arrived within the hour window, did a walk-through and provided me with an estimate. I accepted the estimate, and the work began: lugging many heavy items from inside. Outside, the shed and partial fence were deconstructed, then hauled away with additional fence pieces, a gate, cement slabs and several cinder blocks. The area was swept clean, and all was done within 45 minutes. Abra-cadabra indeed!"

"The owner and his assistant removed two old fashioned tubed TVs (including the heavy 60's vintage console cabinet) , as well as household rubbish and garbage, including broken lamps, ironing boards, ruined pots and pans and other kitchen containers. They were fast and efficient. We had 17 yards of garbage and large furniture pieces to be disposed of. Instead of charging a flat rate for a minimum of 25 yards, as so many of the hauling companies, Abracadaba charged by the yard. They did a great job of cleaning out a garage filled with garbage and household rubbish and took a large old-fashioned entertainment center complete with a TV, as well as a second TV. The company is licensed to take the old tubed televisions. When they had to come a little past the "time window" because of a problem with their truck, they called right away and kept us informed. "Ripped out up to 2 feet of moldy drywall from our entire basement (had flooded per Hurricane Irene) and hauled away all of the debris. This included pulling out all screws and related debris so that the entire perimeter would be ready for mildew resistant treatment. Basement measures approximately 1000 square feet. I called on a Tuesday and spoke to Linda, who answered the phone explained how they work so I knew what to expect. We scheduled service for that Saturday. She followed-up on Friday and reconfirmed the appointment for 8am on Saturday. I told her that the guys were welcome to show up earlier than 8am. Sure enough, they rolled up at 7:40A.M. They looked at the work involved and within about 10 minutes we agreed on the price and services to be rendered. The price was fair. They finished up around 11:30A.M. "They were very punctual and arrived at the schedule time. They provided an estimate within ten minutes and started the work immediately upon the estimates acceptance . The job required clearing out the attic, main floor of 5 rooms, and basement as well as taking and recycling a very large, heavy ten year old large screen TV. A sofa bed and coach were among the large items that had to be negotiated around a narrow hallway with a tight turn. They worked hard to insure that the walls were not damaged from the move.
